“ Güverte is one of the best located fish restaurants in Kuşadası, and a choice and quality of fresh fish selection to match. Being on the first floor and both sides open you have a choice of main street and Caravanserai views on one side and fish harbour and Pigeon Island on the other. You must get there before 8 pm to catch the magnificent sunset. Service is friendly, fast and professional. Our server Erhan is now a friend after visiting this restaurant for years. They offer a wide selection of classic Turkish mezes, hot or cold to start with. They are delicious. Usual order is, you pick your fish, farmed bass or bream 400g €5.5 each or if you go for line caught option €19 a kg on the plate. They are two of our favorite. As your fish is prepared you can enjoy your cold mezes followed by hot. Between each course you're asked if you're ready for the following course! Fish doesn't go on the grill until you say so, which takes minutes to cook on red hot charcoal. Erhan will bone the fish in a flash at the table if you so wish. Location, quality, service and value... All boxes ticked. Keeps having us coming back, year after year. ”
